The Inauguration Ceremony of the HVN’s 2nd TSEC was solemnly held with the attendance of Mr. Khuat Viet Hung – Executive Deputy Chairman National Traffic Safety Committee, Mr. Nguyen Van Minh – Deputy General Director of Central Traffic Police, Ms. Phan Thi Thu Hien – Deputy General Director of Directorate for Road of Vietnam, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Loi – Vice Manager of Traffic Safety Committee of Ho Chi Minh City and Mr. Koji Sugita – General Director of Honda Vietnam, and numerous press agencies.

 

The operation of the HVN’s 2nd TSEC aims at 2 goals:

1. Training traffic safety knowledge & riding skills, bringing full joy of riding to all motorcycle riders.
2. Becoming a model center of motorcycle license training & testing, contributing to improving the quality of motorcycle license training & testing in the Southern region.

 

The 2nd TSEC, which comes into operation with the above two goals, will actively contribute to realizing the Vietnamese Government’s target of " ZERO traffic fatality" by 2045 and towards Honda's global target of "ZERO traffic collision fatalities involving Honda motorcycles and automobiles" by 2050.

 

Towards the first goal, HVN has set up the 2nd TSEC comprehensively, including modern facilities, scientific training curriculum & teaching methods with highly skilled instructors. All motorcycle riders participating in training courses at the center will be professionally trained from basic to advanced traffic safety knowledge and riding skill to experience the joy of riding absolutely and participate in traffic safely.

• Facilities:

• Have the modern facility with a total area of ​​4,500m2, including 4,000m2 for riding courses with the high-quality surface of the road, designed with specialized training areas such as braking, balancing, course slalom, bumpy road, zigzag… It also has 2 training rooms with advanced Honda Riding Trainers to help motorcycle riders experience danger safely, thereby improving accident risk anticipation & avoidance skills for them when participating in traffic.

 

• Have full of training equipment with more than 40 Honda motorcycles of all types, including 500cm3, 350cm3 and under 175cm3, enhancing the experience and joy of riding for all motorcycle riders.

 

• Instructor team: Qualified and well-trained by experts from Honda TSEC in Japan & leading instructors of HVN who have achieved outstanding prizes in the Safety Instructor Competition organized by Honda Japan and Honda Asia & Oceania.

 

• Teaching method: In addition to providing TS knowledge and basic riding skills including braking, balancing, and course slalom, the Center also offers training on accident risk anticipation & avoidance skills on the Riding Trainer, accurately simulating dangerous situations and practicing reaction skills against unexpected dangers. This unique and innovative training content is exclusively provided at HVN’s TSECs.

 

Moreover, pursuing the second goal of becoming a model center of motorcycle license training & testing, contributing to improving the quality of motorcycle license training & testing in the Southern region, HVN has set up A1 & A2 practicing areas full of training & testing equipment that meets the national technical standard.

 

With over 20 years of operating the 1st TSEC in the Northern region (Vinh Phuc province), including 20 years of experiencing in A1 motorcycle license training & testing and 10 years of experiencing in A2 area, HVN will apply those experiences as a solid base for motorcycle licensing & testing at 2nd TSEC in the Southern region.
