Donation of Magnetic Road Sweeper for Local Police Precinct

To realize the traffic safety promotion aspect of Honda’s social contributions, HPM developed the Magnetic Road Sweeper with the help of the Engineering Department. This contraption uses a strong magnetic bar to pull scrap metal and nails off of the main road within the Karawang Area. HPM Donated 2 units for the local police precinct to help them conduct the sweep, especially toward the end of the year, with the consideration to the high volume of riders and drivers in the area.

The Magnetic Road Sweeper is designed to be compatible with the patrol vehicles of the police and is equipped with a scooper and detachable basket to provide efficient and effective usage.

HPM decided to develop the Magnetic Road Sweeper due to the high amount of scrap metal and nails being found by the police during usual sweeps and the fact that the previous devices used by them are not durable enough to last.
