ANTILOCK BRAKE SYSTEM (ABS) AND ELECTRONIC BRAKEFORCE DISTRIBUTION (EBD)

Antilock Brake System (ABS) prevents the wheels from locking while braking hard, or on slippery surfaces, to retain steering control. This allows the driver to steer away from a potential accident which may otherwise occur with locked wheels and the vehicle out of control.

Electronic brake force distribution (EBD) is a technology that electronically controls the distribution of braking force applied to front and rear tires, maximizing stopping power under varying amounts of cargo load, especially when the vehicle is heavily loaded.
